Defects in the skeletal system and imbalances in muscle strength in the core will eventually lead to body alignment issues. These imbalances place extra stress on specific muscle groups, soft tissue, and cartilage. 

Over time, overcompensation issues develop as the individual attempts to shift weight away from one problematic area of the body. It truly can become a never ending cycle, which is why a focus on body alignment is critical.
